I took this picture the last visit where I saw my Mom alive. It was a good day…she was so happy and in good spirits. She’s had a rough go of it over the last several years, but I think you can ask anyone who knew her, and they would tell you she was the sweetest woman they knew (and I’m not just saying it because she was my mother – honest!). RIP, Mom.
Another Thanksgiving, another beach

A Brave encounter
The girls got to meet former Atlanta Brave and current first-base coach Terry Pendleton at the grand opening of Academy Sports in Cumming, Georgia yesterday. They came away with an autographed photo and this picture.

Elisabeth and Emily turned 12 yesterday…it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating their first birthday in China! They chose The Cheesecake Factory for where they wanted to go. All-in-all, a fun evening!
